Throughout my professional career and personal journey, I have been deeply committed to exploring the complexities of Khasi identity, heritage, and history.

In addition to my music and other films, my non-fiction work has culminated in the Khasi Identity Trilogy, a series of films I began in 2014. The Trilogy includes 'Where the Clouds End' (2014), 'Because We Did Not Choose' (2017), and 'The Blood and the Border' (2024).
These films explore themes such as borders, race, the complexities of matriliny, the influence of Calvinistic Methodism and the Brahmo Samaj on the Khasi people, the impact of the First World War, and the role of traditional governance systems in contemporary India.
I am pleased to announce that these films are now available to a wider audience through the streaming platform, Hello Meghalaya.
